Forgot to mention in previous post-- the front hub bearings are covered 10 yrs/100k miles for the original owner. Possibly a warranty job.

Could be the cable or the speedometer. Easiest way to check is to remove the cable from the trans and see if the end comes out of the cable casing....

The crank sensor determines position and speed of the crankshaft. It's in the engine block under the exhaust manifold all the way down on the end...
