Pontiac: Horn on a 92 grand am

    Horn on a 92 grand am

    My horn isn't working its not the fuse and i opened it up and the contacts are touching and the relays are working andy my friends and i can't figure it out

    Have you looked at the "touch switch" in the steering wheel?

    Use a test light attached to the end of the wire that connects to the horn,
    if you have voltage the light will light up. Try replacing the horn. The
    diaphram could be rusted inside.
    When you say the relays are working, does this mean that someone else is
    pressing on the horn on steering wheel and you are feeling the relay. If
    this is the case don't bother with tearing your steering wheel apart.
