Help with a good paint job price:
My wife and my self have a 1978 Silver Anniversary Vette. It is in pretty good
condition, it has 214, 000 miles on it and we have owned it since 1979. I would
like some opions from you vette guys on the price of a good paint job, not
concours, but a good job. the body has no cracks and is straight.It will also
have to have a new decal set applied. What do you think. We are from Destin FL.
or will be in 7 days. Moving there from Newport News VA. Thanks for any help
and ideas.

Price doesn't make a good paint job. Research your paint shops and look at
their work and ask for names of people that have had their cars painted
there. If they are proud of their work they'll help you all they can.

Those decals however will set your head spinning... when you discover the
price... lol
As for price...I would be looking in the 4-5 thousand dollar range ...
