Dodge: Heater Control Calibration

Heater Control Calibration
Anyone out there know how to 'calibrate' the heater control on a 98
Caravan without going to the *^%$&^%) dealer? I just paid $60+ to have
mine done, and I know there must be a more affordable way.
What ever happened to the days of 'simple cable pulls lever on valve and
lets coolant flow through heater core'? It seems more & more that that
the unnecessary complication of the automobile is just a ploy to keep
you enslaved to the dealer. I mean what's the benefit of having a
heater control that needs dealer calibration? Your wife's gonna be
constantly turning it up and down anyway.
There, I feel much better now.

Geary, press and hold the rear wiper and washer buttons at the same time
until all L.E.D's light, this will put the heater control head unit in
calibration mode, when done 2 L.E.D's (rear wiper and washer) will flash
alternately and then stop when complete.

HOLY #$%^! They charged me $60 for THAT? I'm definitely in the wrong
business! Oh well, thanks a bunch for the info. I should've posted
prior to going to the dealer. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
