Mercedes-Benz: Headphone jack for radio??

Has anyone installed a headphone jack in the OEM Bose system on an sl?

I have a 97 sl320 and with the top down at speed the radio is nearly
impossible to hear. I don't think this would be a safety issue because
the road noise is so loud anyway. I have used headphones with an MP3
player and I can actually hear significant driving sounds better. The
wind noise at 80 is very fatigueing.

How much easier it would be to have a mini phone jack on the radio.

Any insight?
