Ferrari: Glut of 360 Resales

    Glut of 360 Resales

Scottsdale Ferrari has used 360's as far as the eye can see at the
moment--noticed yesterday when stopping by with my 328 to have a wheel well
bolt replaced. Not much else besides 360's--just 1 or 2 each TR, 355, 456.
EBAY shows a similar trend at the moment. It's expected that with the 430
due out in the spring, some well monied upgraders might put their 360's up
for sale in advance but my sense is that the huge glut of 360's for sale now
is way out of line. Side note: seems like the 355 resales might be drying
up a bit, last year it seemed there were as many 355's as 360's available.
Maybe the day is coming for making that 328 ==> 355 upgrade?

Anyone have a clue what is going on here?

    Ted.

P.S. They had the new 612 Scaglietti which does look quite nice, though
I've found that the Ferrari 4 seaters have never caught my interest much.

Half dozen? A full dozen? This just struck me as funny considering how few 360s
were even built that seeing a handful in one place (even a couple dozen) would
seem like such a big deal.

While testing our Mustang race car at the Dearborn Proving Grounds over the
past couple of years, we saw dozens of next generation (2005) Mustangs at the
track, in the security garages and around town in various forms of disguise. We
wondered if that happens in Italy when Ferrari is working on a new car.
