BMW: getting wax of plastic

    getting wax of plastic

    hey does anyone have this problem that getting wax on the black plastic part
    of the bumper or the parking protect on the side of the door?? is there a
    easy way to get it off??

    Wherever you get autobody supplies will have a solution available that
    removes wax, etc. Abrasives will damage the plastic, and solvents like
    acetone can dissolve the plastic if not used very carefully.

    This was discussed a while back - one suggestion was peanut butter (smooth,
    not chunky).

    I use a soft, rubber eraser (Magic Rub).
