Infiniti: G35 Sedan - Start problems

I have a new G35 Sedan, @4k miles, >6m old. On several occasions the
car will not start immediately (no cold weather involved as we are in
CA). Neither I nor my wife can narrow down the problem to a single
thing. When I brought it to the dealer - of course they were not able
to replicate the problem and therefore have no input. They suggested
we have the car towed to them the next time we have the problem except
that everytime this happens, we are able to start the car within 1/2
hour (before a tow truck can even reach us).

Has anyone experienced any similar problems? Do you have any idea what
the problem may be?

- we’ve had the keys reprogrammed 3x
- we’ve tried keeping our hightech gadgets off or out of the car (we
have the keyless remote system that may be receiving interference?)

It’s happened in different locations at different times of day.
Sometimes the engine is cold, other times the engine is warm already.

It’s really getting annoying.

Manual or automatic?

I had this same problem on a Chrysler mini-van a long time ago. After
several dealer visits, new battery, new starter, etc we finally nailed it
down to a bad ignition switch. The trick is convincing the dealer to switch
it out!
