Corvette: Fuel gauge sending unit.

Looking for information on 1994 Corvette fuel gauge sending unit.
Specifically, how do you get access to it. Do you have to drop the tank?
Is there access through the interior.

Be careful that you don't rip the rubber boot when you're taking it off. If
you do rip it don't worry, they're only $12.00 from Chevy.
