Why wouldn't you just keep it? If you have the car long enough in Canada,
rust will dictate that you will eventually need to get the tie rod ends
replaced anyway.
Eventually the boot will develop a small leak, water will get in and cause
rust.

(Garage mechanic told me I needed it. I bought it from Toyota. Went to
