    front brakes on 2000 Maxima

My brakes are squeeling after 85k miles, I presume it's the front. Is there
any trick to replacing the pads on the front brakes? Do the slave cylinders
just push back in (using a C-clamp) or are they threaded, or some other
    trick?
    thanks

Piece of cake nothing special required except maybe two C clamps as they
    are dual piston.

I didn't know that the 2k Maxima's had dual piston calipers...

I would recommend opening the bleeder valves prior to compressing the
pistons, so that dirty brake fluid is expelled from the brake lines
rather than pushed back into the system.
