    Ferrari 456 opinions?

There is a verde green locally that has about 23, 000 miles on it, and is
priced at around $70,000. Other than knowing that it has a 12 cylinder
engine, and that it is very quiet looking, I don't know much about them.

What are your opinions on this vehicle as a Ferrari, and what is a good
    price?

Not sure how much I'm impressed by the looks.

IIRC they improved a lot over the years, meaning
the earlier cars had some expensive bugs.

Joe McG here drove a couple examples awhile back.

I remember he was distinctly underwhelmed by one of
the cars he drove, which, I think, was a '97 or so.

That's my hearsay, anyone have anything better?

Gorgeous car, great drivetrain, early examples may have week interior
bits, but reviews are uniformly positive and glowing.

FORZA did a great buyer's guide, you should get a copy.

It is kind of dull looking, but you know I've never had a problem with
that car, because the engine is so great. It's kind of like a super
fast luxo-boat - and what is wrong with that??

I have Forza's buyers guide for the 355 and the Testarossa, which were the
cars I was primarily looking at, but I'll also backorder the 456 article.
    Thanks.

Expensive to maintain AFAIK. There was some kind of issue with the side
windows that crops up on some of them that necessitates very expensive
replacements on some cars - several $'000 per side.

    Each to their own!

They have a history of depreciating like keys dropped out of a Lear Jet.
Other than that, what's not to like?

I mean, are we talking middle-class soccer mom 8-key cluster? Playboy
soccer star 3-key leather fob? Or high school janitor
