Jeep: Expeidition Rack

I was thinking about getting a rack for my Wrangler. I do some
mountain biking and was wondering, if I get one of those expedition
racks, the kind that fold back etc., can I use that for the bike or do
I still need a rear mount rack? I kinda wanted to stay away from the
hitch style...
