    Electrochromic mirror retrofit in '98 SLK

    I have a '98 SLK and would like to install an electrochromic
    (automatic darkening) mirror.

    How hard is it to install an electrochromic rear view mirror that was
    intended for a more recent SLK? How about a drivers-side
    electrochromic?

    Has anyone done this?
