Mitsubishi: ebc green stuff

I recently installed a set of ebc green stuff on the rear brakes on my 97
eclipse gs. That was about two hundred miles ago and they haven't stopped
squealing yet. Could I have done something wrong installing them, or do
they just take longer to finish bedding, or could it be something else?
Should I try some brake cleaner? The old pads were squeaking before I
took those off and I didn't use any brake cleaner when I installed these.
Should I take them back off and spray some in there? Thanks in advance.

I remember when I installed them, I put the pad with the metal clip on it
on the inside. Was that one supposed to go on the outside?
