You need the Toshiba Host cable (is that what you have?) and
USB to serial converter (is that what you have?) and then connect
to the GPS serial cable.
Yes you do need a driver which should come with your USB to serial converter.

e350 Toshiba with etrex Garmin
hello everybody...!
I have a toshiba pda e350 with the USB cable , and now I want to interface
with my GPS Garmin etrex vista...!
today i purchasse a usb to db-9 converter to plug the standard DB9 cable
from Garmin to the usb input cable from toshiba..! my e350 find a new
periferical in the usb..... but he aske me the name of the driver...! and I
dont know how and where is the driver ...!
if somebody can help me ...I very preciate it...!
