    "door ajar"-'95 Caravan

Hello. Is there an easy way to stop the audio
warning? It does it even when all doors are
    secured.

    Thanks,

Try WD-40 in the door latches.

another thing is the plastic strip the button pushes against, it can wear a
hole, just enough to cause the alarm to go off.

fixed ours with several pieces of masking tape.

If you decide to investigate the problem, I'd check the sliding door first.

There are multiple reasons why the chime would sound on that vehicle, But if
you drive down the road and the door ajar lite turns on, dome lite blinks
and audible sound, that may be the sliding door ajar switch going bad or any
other door, other wise it could be another problem related to the BCM/ key
    in ignition sensor

I found some rubber feet used on the bottom of calculators and such. You
can get them at Aubuchon, True Value, etc. and some very strong rubber
cement. I cut 'em down and glued 'em in, and it looks pretty nifty...

I'm wonrdering if the real culprit isn't the hinges 'unwelding'. Both my
'94's have had this problem, and it makes the door ajar warning come on.
The welds on the door itself loosens and makes the door wobbly, slowly at
    first but then more noticably.

BTW, how the hell can a door be a jar? (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist!
