Chrysler: Dodge Stratus '96 2.4L computer question

I'm assuming that there is a computer module controlling the transmission
shifter/position indicator on the dashboard of this car. It has been acting
erratically, often displaying the improper position.

I'd like to know where this little chip is located?

Some of those transmission indicators are cable operated with
adjusters that may need readjusting.
