BMW: Difference in E39 M5s

I'm looking at getting a used E39 M5. There are some low mileage 2000/2001/
and even 2002s at really great prices right now. I was curious how many
things change between the model years. I know that most of the important
stuff seems constant, which is great. But I wasn't sure if there was a site
out there that listed any changes and if anyone has any advice on why one
model year might not be a good idea I'd REALLY appreciate it.
