    cruisin the coast

i'm on the coast of ms. right now we are hosting one of the largest classic
car gatherings called cruisin the coast. i am very disappointed with all of
the corvette owners though. not one has yet to give me the wave. whats up
with that? are they too busy as i am looking at all of the other cars or do
they just not care because this is a car show. i dunno. just wanted to voice
    my opinion.

    jack,
    95 C4 6-speed

    Hello group;
Could someone explain "the wave" to me.
I drive an 86' and I just do an ordinary wave when passing by. Am I missing
    something?
    Thanks

    Re: cruisin the coast

Jack, I live on the coast. My wife and I have discussed this same
subject over the past five days that Cruisin' The Coast has been going
on. This afternoon we attended a function at a friends house alongside
Hwy 90 near Long Beach. During the nearly two hours that we sat along
the highway watching the hundreds of cruisers go by, not a single Vette
driver or passenger(C1s thru C5s) waved, blew their horn or acknowledged
the presence of the many people that were with us waving at the cruisers
while all the other cruisers waved, smiled and blew their horns. These
were people who were driving cars that cost as much as six figures.
Wonder who the pretentious assholes are? Glad we left our Vette at home
and drove a couple of the old cars.

Well Jack, you haven't passed me yet! I've been down there all week and every vette I pass I give the wave! Now believe me I can understand if I don't get the wave back in return, the bumper to bumper traffic at times can keep your attention focused on the car ahead of you! But also with the 4 speed I still find time to pass along the wave, and yes my attention might be drawn to one of the several hot rod lining the roads, so I just might miss a wave or two, but here's a wave for you!""""""""""""""""WAVE""""""""""""""" If ya see a red 75 with Cragers S/S's and the tag "Voltage" That's me so stop and chat!! See ya later and keep up the wave!!!!

5000 + Hot rod, street rods, cruisers that have been registered in the contests, The swap meet, and the Classic auto auction all here along the Missippi Gulf Coast! Come join the fun!!it lasts until the 12 of Oct and there is fun for all!
