BMW: crackin noise 2002 352i

Hello everyone,

My 325I has some cracking noises when I make turns or when I go over
bumps. The sound is coming from the front of the car. However, the crackin
noise is off and on. When I start up the car and do some test turns on the
steering wheel, I don't hear the noises. But after driving for 15 min, I
then begin to hear the cracking noises. I have an appointment with
dealshiper for service this weekend, but I would like to get some insight
before I bring the car in. Does anyone know or have this problem? Thanks

Where does the noise seem to originate from? How many miles are on the car?
Is this a convertible?
