its a short somewhere? anyone know where the timer or controller box for
these lites is located, or what it even looks like? anyone else had this

Two tickets to the Super Bowl says that water is dribbling onto one of the
door switches. Pop the door switches out and look for traces of corrosion.
When you find out which side is getting wet, check the areas above the
switch. You can somewhat seal up the switch until you get the leak stopped.

    Bob:

This is interesting. Especially because I advertise that I repair these
modules. But what the hell does the module have to do with the lights
coming on when it RAINS? Unless of course, it's raining inside of the car

    Re: courtesy lites staying on??

Many years ago when I was single and lived in an apartment, my phone would
hiss, crackle and stop working every time it RAINED. I complained to the
phone company and asked them to repair it (many times). I came from work
one day and my landlord told me that he let a repair man into my apartment.
He changed the wire from the phone to the receiver. Kind of the same thing

well, it could be the timer relay, I was thinking there could be a water
    leak around the window frame
