Mazda Miata: Clutch pedel Squeek

'99 miata. When depressed, squeeking clutch...no clutch problems. Only a
sound somewhere along the link. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Easy fix - lube the clutch rod that passes through the firewall and to
the slave cylinder. Use a spray white lithium grease. Hit it about
once every six months and it will cease to be a problem. Nice to know
that they have built in the idiosyncracies of the earlier models.
