My '92 is still running just like new. Paint is better than a new
car.

Mike,
one of our local Pizza chains has a fleet of 75-79 corollas for
delivery cars--old enough for ya???
Here in California there's also a racing class just for late 70s
Corollas, scads of old Corollas end up racing after 20 years of street
use.
I know for a fact that the Pinto outsold the Corolla over here by a
large margin in the 70s, yet I see way more 70s Corollas on the road
than Pintos.
Same thing with Taurus vs Camry models in the late 80s-early 90s. The
Taurus was the biggest selling car in America in those days, but few
are still on the road. The Camry was pretty far down the sales chart
in those days, but a hell of a lot more of them are still on the road.

My 1985 Corolla has 215,000 KMs on it and is still going strong. You
simply can't beat Toyota for quality and durability.

My 85 Corolla has 218k miles. It wasn't "going strong" even back in
'85 though. :-)
