Chevrolet: car question

my car just started to lose power when i give it a shot of gas, its almost
like it stutters and doesnt get the gas or cant push the gas through, but if
i just drive normal it works fine. i did have to fix my exhaust pipe,and i
noticed its starting to leak again the leak is just a bit before the
muffler, could this be the problem? maybe a build up of carbon in the
catillatic converter? or is it something more serious? any help would be
great

I agree. From the information given, I would suspect the fuel system - check
the filter first, then consider the fuel pump.

Your problem doesn't sound exhaust system related at all, I doubt the issues
are related.
