Right - and even if Bush had found the WPM, we still look as though we're
heedless of any opinions other than our own
Smart ass...
Agreed
Oh, now, I don't think it's fair to assume he does that, despite my dismay at
his lack of respect for women. He probably just keeps telling her down by
telling her how stupid and emotional she is...that would hurt
:-P

Natalie won't see this so here goes...
The terrorists and their sponsors declared war on Us with the first
attempt at destroying the World Trade Center. Their second attempt
succeeded. It is better in numerous ways to conclude this attack on
the terrorists' sponsors soil than in Phoenix, AZ ... or any other
American metropolis. Of course the Hate America crowd (similar to
the one's who "support the troops" but not the mission) want the war
here.

Mike, I said "first" to enter. US was way, way down on the list of
countries entering the wars against Germany.
And, MDT, I said "where-in they were not just cleaning up their own mess"
Somalia
The US supplied arms and fought against Islam and communism in the
civil war in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Liberia
For over 100 years, black American settlers colonised Liberia and
treated the indigenous Africans poorly. The US strongly supported Samuel
Doe's vicious dictatorship during the 1980s. The US helped drag out the
civil war against Charles Taylor by several years during the early 1990s.
And, again, I said "first", in Kosovo, the "The United States said ...
that it would support a British resolution in the United Nations to
authorize a NATO military intervention " and "the United States also
joined the European Union in imposing a ban on new investment in Serbia
and to freeze Yugoslav and Serbian government assets abroad
Hardly leading the fight.

I wonder what his reaction would be if N Korea asked him to prove he

Bush wants a nuke free world then let him get rid of his.

I know you are referring to recent attacks, but here's a bit of
trivial histoory.
Oregon was bombed during WW2 by Japan. They brought a seaplane over
on a sub. Surfaced, put it together, loaded it with an incendiary

Luckily it had rained the night before, and the bomb caused little
damage at all.
Isn't that wild.

Re: The war on terror
I was referring to just a few of those that had been attacked
that we had to 'rescue,' or they would have been overthrown. We
were not the first in the form of troops because we were not
invaded and we were not allied with any of them. We certainly
contribute to the defense of Europe from the beginning of W.W.II
with the 'Lend Lease Program,' that was neither a loan or a
lease, and with the many 'volunteers' that came from the US.
Even today no 'country' has attack us. That is why we must go to
any 'county,' where those that would ultimately do us harm, are
sheltered. Just as in the past, if those countries individually
or collectively can't or won't do the job, it falls on the US to
get the job done if we are to survive in the end. To believe
otherwise is pure folly. Unfortunately all too many do not
understand the profound difference between ALL past wars and the
events culminated by 9/11. Thank goodness we have an
administration in Washington the does understand. The president
said from the beginning, after 9/11 this would be a long
worldwide war and we will prevail over ANY and ALL terrorist and
any country that harbors them.

If it were not for the US nukes, the people in your county would
