Dodge: cant get window up

sounds like a loss of ground or power somewhere> what yr is this ? try
wiggling the wires between the door and body where the wires come into the
dooor, possible broken wire

huh? I was under the impression that "all" recalls were required to be done
by an authorized dealer. That's what makes them recalls. I mean, it just
wouldn't be right for me to take my car to the local auto shop and expect
them to fix a manufacturer's defect - for free. All recalls are fixed for
free by the dealerships. At least the few that I've had were fixed that
way.
