Toyota: California emission test

California emission test
Are there diiferences in Emssion Control Device between car from Florida and
car from California? I am in California, considering buying an out of state
car from Florida. DMV record check stated it has already passed California
Smog Check for this year. I am worrying about the next year check if I buy
this car.
Thanks in advance,

California's smog rules are more stringent than the Federal, but
except for a few years where manufacturers made separate "49-state"
and CA versions of their cars, they just built them all to CA specs to
make it simple, any car can be shipped anywhere. When you bring it
into CA as a new resident you have 60 days to get it registered here
(and get your CA Drivers License) and you'll probably have to do
another smog check then.
Check the emission equipment stickers under the hood of the car, it
probably states 'meets CA emissions regulations for model year 19XX'.
