Cadillac: Caddy mechanics San Antonio, Texas ????

My 99 Deville is putting out some white smoke from the exhaust. Not
all of the time. It has been more noticeable after a heavy rain. We
have had a lot of those in the past few days. I have been advised to
ask for a compression test and a leak down test. I would like to know
if any one has experience with a reliable Cadillac mechanic in S.A.
TX? I have no clue how to determine if the tests actually showed what
the mechanic says they did and what the fix(es) might be. The 2
dealers I know of are Cavender and Ken Batchelor. I was planning to
go to Batchelor, closer to home. I am open to other mechanics.

Any recommendations.

One other thing, I just bought this vehicle (July 3, 2007) and I am
reluctant to take it back to the dealer I bought it from, Tom Benson.
I have not been to impressed with their mechanics in the past. Any
thoughts about taking it back to Tom? "As is" "Buyer Beware" etc.
