    C900 security system?

    Hi All

I have just put my money down on a 92 c900 T16S Aero to replace my
deceased 88 16i (someone up the hill didn't put their handbrake on
    properly :-( ).

It's a good looking car and will be kept on the street, so I'm
considering putting an alarm and/or imobiliser on it. Does anyone have
any tips or pitfalls to warn of on getting such a system put on an older
car - I don't want the electrical system mucked up. Can anyone recommend
a fitter in the South Yorks (UK) area or one of those companies in the
UK that will travel to you to fit an alarm.

Also, are locking bolts available that will fit the twirly Aero alloys
    it has fitted?

    Thanks in advance...

Fitting alarms to older cars is significantly simpler than fitting them
to newer cars. Any decent auto electrics place should have no problem
    doing the job properly.

Can't recommend anyone in your area, sorry.

It's a great shame to see a C900 get trashed, it really is. Glad to hear
    you've found a good replacement.

    As per Grunff's advice ...

I have the rotational Aero wheels with locking nuts very much like these:

I park my old Volvo in a position so it will be the first car hit, thus
    protecting my Saab :-)

Thanks all for your help - I've ordered some bolts from Partsforsaabs...
not sure that I'll splash out on a sacrificial Volvo though ;-)
