    C4 Shifter knob thread size??

I have been trying to find a white "HURST" shifter knob for
my C4 6 speed. They seem to exist for everything except a C4. :-(

The closest I've found is for Camero. I'd take one of these
even though the reverse pattern will be wrong.

The thread size and pitch on the Camero HURST knob is: 16mm X 150.

Is this the same as the C4? I searched all over the web for that
info but couldn't find the thread size and pitch for the C4.

    Thanks

I believe that the ZF 6spd thread is 9/16-(can't remember pitch). It's
definitely the same as the C5 knob - I borrowed a coworkers stock C5 leather
shift knob and it fit like it was made for my '94.

    Thanks Steve,
I found that Hurst makes a Classic White Knob
    for the C4.

I believe that the thread is 9/16"-18. I have been looking for a decent
zebrano or rosewood unit that might fit my C4. That's the only reason that
I have any idea at all.

My original knob has a 1/4" hole worn through the leather, but I'm not
willing to spend $50 or $60 unless it makes a stark improvement in the
    appearance. ;-)
