Corvette: C-6 When is the official debut?

Please excuse my saying so, but it seems like the new corvette does
not look like a corvette!

If the pictures are accurate, this looks remarkably like a Nissan 350 Z.

don't know if its the real thing or not but it appears to be. Not sure
why they classify it as a 2004 since the C6 is technically an '05
release...perhaps a type-o?

In any case....it looks sweet though.

Also, it is claimed that the launch will be 428 days from today.
