    Re: Brake Pad Replacement

I use Jurid since 20 years on different BMW models (3-5-6-7 series) and they
are really good may be even better then ATE. They make brake dust but,
generally perform very well. Go for it ! No problemo...

I've used Bendix 'regular' pads on my 525i and 316i and have found them
satisfactory for city commuting. I don't do track days nor pull a horse
trailer, so haven't experienced them under continually heavy-duty usage.
They don't dust as much as the BMW pads (by ATE, I believe), so leave less
mess on your wheels. They seem soft on the rotors, no unusually heavy wear
    to the rotors.

I have a set of Ferodo pads on the 525i now with new Lemforder rotors. I was
warned that they might squeal until they set in, but after six-months they
still squeal loudly during light braking. They don't dust badly, though.
Better than stock pads in the dust production area.

Hard to advise further, without knowing your driving habits.
