Ball park figure
Looking to have a 6-8 point roll cage installed into my 69 coupe. What would
a reasonable cost of parts and installation would I be looking around?
I hate euro lights on a stang

Re: Ball park figure
Well I would like to have it NHRA approved,
that being said since its a bracket car (high 11's low 12's), I have yet to
see a tech session really check anything over, kinda sad when saftey is
supposed to be the issue here.

Re: Ball park figure
Hey if they will guarantee their work to pass tech, and save you life in
an accident, then go for it. But remember, you get what you pay
for..............Just how much is your life worth...............

Re: Ball park figure
I race a 1986 Mustang at the SCCA regional level and have had to install an 8
point cage in it. If you are going to have to hire someone to do the job you
can expect to pay $1000 to $2000 for a quality cage that you can count on to
keep you safe. If you are going to race the car, make sure you and your
fabricator look at the rulebook for what ever sanctioning body that you are
going to race with and make sure the cage will meet their requirements.Remeber
one thing, you may be depending on this cage to protect you in a crash, don't
cheap out on it's construction.
