Mitsubishi: Airtrek Multi communication system

Hi

I own a 2001 24VS Airtrek (imported from Japan.)

No problems with the car but the stereo system is a bit challenging as
it's all in Japanese.

Slowly figuring it out and as I do I will add tips & screenshots to my
webpage so some of you may find the information useful (or somebody
might be able to give me some helpful feedback.)

Yeah thanks. Had already thought of this. I have a friend of a friend
who is in Japan and he going to organise this for me.

Funnily enough I suggested to the car dealer that as they are selling
lots of cars with Japanese language controls (and no useful manual)
perhaps they could employ one of the many thousands of Japanese
language students in this country to provide, as an optional extra a
live translation service. They could even market it as an after sales
chargeable service.

Not surprisingly, as they were a bunch of luddites, It went right over
their heads.
