    Aftermarket MAF Sensor

Would the use of an aftermarket (oversized) MAF sensor improve
performance in a Malibu SS with the 3.0L engine?

Probably the best way to start improving perpfrmance is to re-chip the ECM
    (Engine Control Module).
We run our 3.5L Malibu "Stock" and can get some serious wheelspin when we
need it. We averaged 40.9 Miles per (Canadian) gallon last week.
Wheelspin and over 40 mpg is good enough for me!

Sounds like a good idea. As it now stands, this is an incredibly
powerful car, but the mileage (except on the highway) sucks to put it
    gently.

Where did you get your aftermarket ECM?
