    96 Grand am suspension problem

    Hi
Every time i hit even a small pothole, i can hear sort of clunking noise
from front right wheel. What could be making this noise?

It could be anything from a loose headlight assembly to a
ball joint about to come apart. Noises are difficult to diagnose over
the internet. Try to find someone who can drive (or ride) while one
of you listens for the noise. Perhaps you can narrow it down a bit.
In the meantime, check the lugnuts, all strut parts, all nuts and
bolts, and wheel cover (if any).

The problem was that the lower control arm came off the bushing (
vertically mounted) and was hitting it's mount therefore teh clunking
    noise.
    Thanks for all replies
