Corvette: '93 AND UP C4'S?

I HAVE AN '86 AND AM LOOKING TO PURCHASE A '93 OR LATER. MY QUESTION- IS
THE '93 AND LATER MUCH MORE POWERFUL?I KNOW THE HORSEPOWER WAS RAISED THAT
YEAR.

The LT1 was introduced in 1992 not 1993...and continued to be rated at 300
HP thru 1996...

Your 86 was rated at 230 or 240 (I think) depending on
if it had Aluyminum heads etc... still a chunk below an LT1..

BUT ... your L98 in my opinion has lots of low power
that you can really feel in the seat of your pants at stop lights but runs
short of breath about where the LT1 just starts to kick in... So you may
not really think the lT1 is
that much more powerful...

I like my 95 so much that I can not bring myself to buy a C5 ...... YET !
