Corvette: 93 convertible and winter storage

93 convertible and winter storage
I've read many of the recommended articles on northern winter storage of
Corvettes, but one question (?) remains. Is it better to store with the top
up or down? The car is in a garage with a high quality cloth cover, but
garage is not climate controlled. The garage is shared with a 2nd car that
occasionally is winter driven. The 'Vette in question is a 33,000 mile
baby, very pampered her entire existence. I acquired it this past April.
All (reasoned) suggestions welcomed.

Re: 93 convertible and winter storage
You are not supposed to ever leave the top down for long periods. At least
that's what they told me when I had mine replaced. Especially bad for the
plastic back window.

Re: 93 convertible and winter storage
Store the car with the top up. Drive here to Arizona to keep it from getting
cold. you can park it next to my C5 in the garage (ps leave the keys)

Re: 93 convertible and winter storage
Thanks for "the word".
And I'd love to drive it to AZ..... but I'd want to stay with it. ;^)
