92 2.5 trouble code help
I just got a 92 Wrangler last night. After starting the check engine light
is off at idle, touch the gas and it comes on and stays on. The codes I am
getting are 12, 33, 24 and 55. I haven't bought a manual yet and don't trust
it to drive to Advance or Auto Zone so I wondered if someone could give me a
little help. Thanks.

Use Google (or the search engine of your choice) and type in something
like Jeep Error Codes. You'll get all sorts of answers.
However I do know that code #12 was almost always "Battery recently
disconnected" and I think 33 has something to do with the A/C but
darned if I can remember what. Code 55 was usually "end of codes".

Thanks for the help everyone. I started to pull the connector off the TPS
and the sensor came apart. It had apparently been cracked for a while as it
was full of mud. I will be replacing it tomorrow.
