Re: 91xj lift
I bought the RE6025
http://www.rubiconexpress.com/dynamic/mainpage.asp?folderid=185 - (at the
bottom) from offroadtoystore.com That paticular site gives free DT3 shocks
with every lift kit. It's a 3.5" lift with new springs all the way around.
Total was $682.63 shipped to my door. I'll let you know when I get it
installed how everything went and what I think about the kit for quality,
ride, ect. I intend to install it next weekend if it arrives in time.
I haven't heard good things about kits from Rancho, Pro Comp, Rough Country,
Tuff Country, ect. They typically use an AAL/ lift block combination, or
cheap stiff springs.
Higher quality brands are Rubicon Express, Teraflex, and Skyjacker. These
companies use higher quality materials and, IMHO, offer a much better
product worth paying a bit of a premuim for.
Check out www.offroadtoystore.com and www.rocky-road.com

Also, try asking over in rec.autots.makers.jeep+willys. There are more
people over there.

BDS makes a good lift for the XJ

Re: 91xj lift
finally got home long enough to put the lift on my Jeep thanks for all the
advice. works good except for the occasional death wobble and that is pretty
much cured with balanceing the tires.
