91 Previa acceleration hesition - help

Hi - I'm the second owner of a beautiful 91 Previa and could use some
advice. This van has never had any probs till I left it parked in the
garage 3 or 4 weeks without starting it. When the engine gets warm ( a mile
or two ) accelerating from a stop - the engine sort of chugs and misses -
applying more gas it drops down a gear and accelerates. At a stop it misses
slightly ( after warm-up ) and sort of bogs down or misses on start. I
replaced the fuel filter but no change. I also am in a small town in
Indiana that has zero import auto dealers to check the prob for me. The
nearest Toyota dealer is about an hours drive from here and with it running
like this - I'm sort of afraid to drive it there. The van has just over
100,000 miles on it and has always served me well - can anyone give me an
idea as to what to check next? Have checked the vacuum lines and can't
locate any probs. ???? Thank you AAT group -- Ed in Indiana

Hmmmmm--could be anything--try a bottle of good gas treatment as first cheap
    thing to do--STP or similar
