    91 Camry, check engine

My Check engine light just came on at 170K miles. Car runs great. Is just
one of those times that you can just shut it off under the dash someplace?
This is what happened on my old corolla when there was nothing wrong. How do
I turn if off in the camry?
    Thanks

    do

This question has been asked many times,..do a Google search on this group
using 'check engine light' or similar,....you'll find megga-answers which
are quite involved including the On Board Diagnostic procedure or
    code-reading .

Disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes, and it probably go off.

Someone told me that sometimes the ECU [computer] gets stuck on something, and you just have to reset it by disconnecting the battery.
That happened to mine about 4 months ago, and the light hasn't come on again.

If the light is still on after, then you might have a problem. Check all your sensor connectors, air hoses, cables, etc. to see if there is something disconnected.

Also check your cas cap to make sure it's good tight and the gasket
creates a good seal. I have 91 Camry LE and that's waht fixed my check engine
    light problem.
