89 Buick park ave Noise issue (brakes?)

Weird problem I have right now. I just replaced the front brake pads on my
89 park ave (170,000 miles on the car). The rotors were still really good,
so I had them machined. Pads are decent quality.... here's the problem.

While driving, SOMETIMES i get a medium-pitched whine coming from the front
right. The pitch DOES NOT CHANGE with vehicle or engine speed, and if I
touch the brake pedal (not even hard enough to turn on the brake lights) the
noise stops, until I let off the pedal. It also seems to go away faster then
55-60 mph, and doesn't appear until I'm going 10-15 mph. I can also feel a
light "hum" in the steering wheel and floor when the noise appears.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers
    Tony

How where the caliper pins? Free? Did you grease them? Are all the bolts
tight? Anti rattle clips in place?
