Hyundai: 87 chevy cavalier/ Is the fuel pump in the fuel tank?

Ive followed the fuel lines from the carb. to the tank, and couldnt
see the pump at all. There are 4 wires leading into the tank, so i
presume its in there, i just want to make sure before i take the tank
off and get the pump.
