    86 Le Baron oil leak

I have an '86 Lebaron, 2.2 four cylinder that has a rather nasty oil
leak. I have changed the valve cover gasket thinking it was coming from
somewhere "high up" because I can smell it burning on the exhaust
    manifold.
But apparent I'm wrong about something or everything since it still
leaks, about a quart in less than 200 miles.
Someone told me that on these particular engines it will start leaking
oil when the cylinder head goes bad (as opposed to it leaking coolant,
    like you'd expect).
Anyone else heard that? Otherwise any suggestions?

Oil sending unit maybe. Is it a turbo?

No turbo, and I've looked at the sending unit...actually I don't
remember actually looking at that but it would've been one of the first
& most obvious things to check.
It may be that wherever it is coming from it's hitting the spinning cv
shaft and thus contacting the exh manifold & burning off
I'll double check the sender unit, though.
I have just a plain blacklight bulb...would I be able to get some of
that dye to put into the oil and then have it show up by just shining a
blacklight down there--or does it have to be a special UV light made
    just for that purpose? Thanks
