85 Camry auto tranny park noise
I have got a loud noise from the automatic transaxle only in the
P(park) and sometimes also in the N(neutral) position.
No problem when driving the car and no noise in any of the
"drive" positions. I have adjusted the fluid level as it was
a little low.
Could it be an electrical problem ? Any suggestions ?

English is not my native language, but a mix of grinding,
growling and gurgling noise - does that make sense ?
I forgot to mention that i noticed smoke from one of the
battery positive connections when running the engine in the
park, "noisy", position.

And this morning the noise was gone - seems to be intermittent.
