Ford: 84 Ford Van AC question

    84 Ford Van AC question

    Hello ! Im trying to locate the Low Pressure side of the AC system on a 84
    Ford Van. Someone said it mught be inside the cab? Any help would be
    appreciated !

    You are NOT qualified to service the AC.
    Spend the $29 to take it to an AC service shop.

    The low pressure side is the hose/line connected to the receiver/dryer,
    that "can" on the firewall. That line will be cold when the A/C is
    working. Also, avoid that "someone's" advice, at least about A/C.

    Boy, it costs $29 for an AC shop to show you where
    to locate the Low Pressure side of the AC system.
    What a RIP.

    I have a 1985 Van "Clubwagon" and the low side line
    runs along the firewall, where the quick connector resides.
    The receiver/drier is up front beside the radiator.

    Oh yeah... the kicker is that plastic channel.

    There's no big accumulator bottle as those use the Expansion Valve system
