Toyota: 83 Celica GT I Want to Get Rid Of

83 GT Hatchback, 5sp manual, with bad body (lived at coast too long)
but good engine. Was daughter's first car, and she blew the engine
within the first year. We paid $2,500 to get it rebuilt in June 99 (not
the best choice in retrospect) and then she abandoned it when she went
to college in August 2000. Car has sat since with occaisional starting
just to keep things lubed. Love to tell you milage figures, but can't
find the reciept she was suppossed have kept with the other reciepts
and the odo "isn't working anyway" according to her. Knowing her use of
the car, would say between 12 & 15K on the engine. Car has short
somewhere in the electrics that runs the battery down when it sits.

She came home Winter '01 with a knee that needed surgery, and couldn't
drive the stick, so we ended up inheriting her cousins '85 Corrola with
automatic. Too many Old Toys in my yard. If you live in the area of
Tillamook, Oregon and are interested I will take any offer (reasonable
or otherwise). Car drives fine, just needs tags and insurance, and a
thousand spiders evicted to get it wherever.

Defintely a parts car, but the engine is still too good to just haul it
to the bone yard without trying to find someone who can use it.
