BMW: 733I Bomb Replacement

733I Bomb Replacement
Brakes are on the soft side. Can step on the pedal then sinks a bit more.
Very soft when stopping hard, get pressure, then have to press harder to get
emergency stop. No warning lights on the console. Are these the symptoms
of a dying accumulator?
My many, many thanks in advance

P.S. Can anyone give me any leads to find a repair manual for a 1983 733I?
Have turned-up none.

Re: 733I Bomb Replacement
Thanks for your reply. Talked to my local BMW parts manager about a service
manual. He was very reluctant to give me any information on how to purchase
it from BMW USA. Acted very much as if it were a trade secret document.
:-) Suggested I try ebay, amazon, or Bently. Zero's with all.
Will continue my quest.

BMW factory manuals are available from the Central Letter Shop,
www.centrallettershop.com. Click on the Roundel for the "EPA parts
list". The web site is pretty confusing, so you might just want to
call and ask for what you want.
